私は、社会の中にある「つながり」や「曖昧さ」を、「グラフ理論」や「ファジィ理論」といった数学的な考え方を使って、社会ネットワークの構造や人々のあいまいな判断・感情などをモデル化し、研究しています。たとえば、SNSで情報がどう広がっていくか、誰が影響力を持っているのか、あるいは人々の「なんとなくそう感じる」という曖昧な意識が、どのように社会の動きに影響するのかといったものです。こうした「見えないけれど確かにあるもの」を、数理的にとらえることが、私の研究のテーマです。大学は、「自分の問い」にじっくり向き合える場所です。一緒に「見えない世界のしくみ」を解き明かしていきましょう。
